Blog five

Mainly I wish to clear up the misconception that college is mandatory for everyone, and in some cases can even be harmful to the individual. And I wish to prove this by providing information so the people understand that trade schools, and other educational alternatives can help some people reach their goal as well as if not better than going to college can. The most important issue I wish to bring to light is that people do not always notice that they have such a huge biased against trade schools and vocational education. This can cause unintentional friction when left unchecked, and  unnoticed.
My hypothesis, or the main idea I wish to get across is that people should eliminate there biased to vocational education and treat it as they would any path that a person might take after high school. Because then not only will help peoples self esteem that do not wish to go to college, but can also help the country economically by filling skill needed jobs that are left empty today. It is also important to clarify does this by no means is trying to state that those looking for a vocational education are not capable of college, simply at that either do not need or want it.

The facts to convince my audience will be a mix between testimony and statistics to round out a more solid argument. These testimonies ranging from students, to educators and hopefully from people in countries that have healthy images of vocational schools for comparison and perspective.  However I must still find statistics that can be correctly applied to my argument.

first blog

I consider myself and expert in nothing, but i do know quite a bit about boxing, poetry, music, and have a very large repertoire of random facts. My biggest area of expertise is literature I have been a bookworm since a young age so I’ve read quite a bit though my few years.

As for hobbies I am on the speech team, (which consume most on my life) I write poetry and stories in my spare time, which seems to come in shorter and shorter increments as I get older. If I’m lucky every now and again I get to savor a few levels of my favorite video game.

I enjoy studying math because it is simple and i enjoy literature because it is not, but the common factor is I feel both have real world applications. It is crucial for me to see a future application for something that I learn; otherwise it becomes a heavy task to focus upon it.

I feel most passionate about issues that currently have an illogical, over complicated solution. When people overcomplicate things the systems they create overlap in dis-harmonious ways, when this happens time, effort and lives can be lost.

In truth, my hunger for knowledge has been hard to fill in almost any category since I was a child, because life holds so many beautiful details the people forget about. So as long as its new to me and not a common fact I’m interested to learn it and share it with others.
